Problem Resolution Life Cycle

Add a Problem

A problem can be created in three different ways

  • Click on the specific System tile to create a Problem in that System. Click on the Problem button on the top of the Problem list to the right of System List. Add New Problem Manually page appears. Enter Problem name and set the details in the Add New Problem page. Click on Save button.
  • Select a System in the System tile where you want to create a problem. Click on any one of the Problems in the Problem list. This will take you to the Fishbone page. Click on the '+' symbol next to the drop down that shows all the problems of the System. Add New Problem Manually screen appears. Give problem name and details. Click on Save button.
  • Select a System in the System tile where you want to create a problem. Click on any one of the Problems in the Problem list. This will take you to the Fishbone page. Navigate to the Symptoms page by clicking on Fishbone drop menu at the top of the Fishbone screen beside the download Summary Report icon. This will take you the Symptoms page. Click on the '+' symbol on the top of the Problem list that says 'Open Problems' in the left hand menu. Add New Problem Manually screen appears. Enter Problem name and set the details. Click on Save button.

  • Click on the ‘edit’ icon next to the problem number in the problem drop down box in the ‘Fishbone’ or ‘Symptoms’ screen.
  • Click on the ‘edit’ icon next to the problem in the problem panel in the ‘Symptoms’ screen to change the relevant data.

  • Select a System in the System tile. Click on any one of the Problems in the Problem list to the right of the System List. This will take you to the Fishbone page. Select problem number from the problem drop down box. This makes it your current problem and displays the corresponding fishbone.
  • Click on the Symptoms menu from the Fishbone drop down menu on the top of the fishbone. This takes you to the ‘Symptoms’ screen. Click on the problem in the problem panel on the left hand side. This makes it your current problem and displays the corresponding Prosolvr Symptoms data on the right hand side.
